Below are materials which i use for my pencil sketches,
1. Sketch Pencils
I got this camlin pencils set from a local store without any idea on sketching.
But this pencils are too good and you can also get Faber Castell pencil set which is also best in market.
Each pencil has unique shading texture and i suggest you to practice each pencil few times in separate A4 sheet before you try in your drawing.
It is better to get this from your local store as online platform prices are too high when compared to actual MRP.
2. Paper Stump
When i start to learn about pencil sketching, i found that blending is also essential even for pencil sketches.
Similar to oil pastel, you can use tissue paper or ear bud for blending, but paper stump will give you professional result.
There are so many youtube videos available on how to create paper stump at home.
But i neither had time nor patience to create one. So i bought from online platform which is actually of very good quality.
3. Paper Medium
There is no specific paper medium for pencil sketching. You can use normal A4 paper for your sketches. I just got Classmate sketch book of 40 pages to keep all my sketches in one place. I suggest you to get this also from local store as this is much cheaper and quicker than online.
